Today, the EU Packaging and Packing Waste Regulations (PPWR) are officially in their application, with the packaging industry moving toward a new phase of quantification, recycling, and full-life value design. At such an important node, we want to share something that has been being pushed seriously: a cup of coffee paper that is finished and does not necessarily go to trash cans after drinking it; it can also load coffee slags, seeds, and soil into a nursery cup, allowing one-time packaging to have a second life that can be seen and involved.
It is a new scene of breeding, co-generation and shifting when it first uses a reliable drink. This is not only a material change, but also a reperception of the value of packaging, and our long-term practice of sustainability.
We have been doing something meaningful — giving the Cup a second life and looking forward to working with more small partners to make it work.
