在新年的前夕，北京开启晴冷模式，零下十几度的天气，一群热爱运动的小伙伴汇聚在国家奥林匹克体育中心崭新的健身步道上，准备用健康跑来迎接新的一年。在第七届“迎新年 走向美好明天”健步走暨国家奥体中心健身步道启用仪式上，来自周边社区的健身群众和国家奥体中心全体职工一起体验了一把新改建的全长2.5公里的DPU健身步道。

2019年，国家奥体中心充分调研，积极寻找优质社会资源合作，重新铺设了园区内全长2.5公里的全民健身步道。这条DPU健身步道，采用了高科技弹性材料ETPU又称爆米花材料，具有高弹性、环保、耐久的特点。在北京的冬天里，这条跑道依然具有良好的冲击吸收性能，能最大程度的保护健步走和跑步爱好者的膝关节，是国际高品质的健身步道之一。
奥体中心：见证中国体育事业的振兴
每天，国家奥体中心周围的很多老百姓都习惯性地来到这里，跑步、踢毽、健身……全民健身早已经融入到老百姓的生活中，奥体中心也是一样。
三十年来，作为中国体育发展的对外窗口，国家奥体中心先后承办了第11届亚运会、第21届世界大学生运动会、2008年奥运会等一系列重大体育赛事和其他重要大型活动，深受人民群众喜爱。奥体中心的成长和发展见证了中国体育事业的振兴。在新时代浪潮下，国家奥体中心积极探索全民健身工作新的发展模式与思路，向更多的群众推广健康运动、科学健身的理念，并以国际视野积极建设完善园区各场馆健身设施，为群众提供更好更丰富的健身体验。
国家奥体中心主任李全海在活动致辞中指出，“作为国家级全民健身示范基地，奥体中心一直以来以构建公共体育服务为己任，不断完善场地设施，创建健身组织，举办公益活动，开展健身指导，弘扬体育文化。近几年，奥体中心每年的全民健身人次均在280万以上。”

“迎新年走向美好明天活动已经连续举办7年了，活动得到周边健身群众的积极响应。随着《体育强国建设纲要》的颁布，奥体中心更加坚持将全民健身活动做到更精更优，影响更广泛，希望通过公益性体育活动让更多的人动起来，希望带给更多人运动的快乐，更希望体育促进个人健康、家庭和谐与社会和睦，为小康社会贡献一份力量。”国家奥体中心党委书记林晓华说。
DPU健身步道：三大技术让跑道更出众
据悉，这条DPU健身步道采用世界化工巨头巴斯夫发明的聚氨酯热塑性发泡材料Infinergy ETPU颗粒，被致力于新材料应用创新的都佰城创造性地应用到运动场地上。都佰城集团董事长林凡秋认为，“奥体中心健身步道项目正是全民健身设施新技术、新材料创新应用的一次经典范例。”
“我们有信心这条DPU跑道将会是全世界最环保的健身步道。它不单单环保，还能保护运动者的膝关节免受伤害，在零下十几度北京的冬天里，依然能保持极佳的弹性。优质的体育场地设施将助力全民健身更广泛、更顺利地开展，希望大家能在这条跑道上跑出健康、跑出活力，也希望未来我们更多舒适环保耐久的跑道让国民跑出幸福生活。”林凡秋说。
据巴斯夫特性材料部建筑业务大中华区业务总监韩玮介绍，DPU健身步道是由巴斯夫与都佰城共同研发，运用多种不同性能的新型材料开发出的健身步道系列产品系统，具备ETPU减震缓冲技术、零VOC净味技术和抗UV耐老化技术。它不但能满足教育部牵头起草的新国标GB36246-2018的环保全项要求，还达到了欧美最严苛的运动地面冲击防护要求。
中浩银河实业有限公司董事长张云忠在发言中感谢奥体中心给了企业一个服务社会，为北京老百姓提供健康生活的机会。他说，“我们企业就是响应国家战略，以建设体育强国为己任，实实在在为老百姓提供绿色环保、安全可靠、结实耐用的高品质健身步道。中浩银河的EPDM颗粒已走出国门远销全世界，今后我们将更多地关注体育公益事业，着力为老百姓提供舒适度和体验感更好的健身步道材料，做群众健康运动的守护者！”
新的十年：要跑得自在、跑得健康、跑得舒适
今天的天气虽然寒冷，但参加活动的群众都兴致高涨。“我1990年就开始在这里锻炼，快三十年啦，奥体中心是我们生活的一部分，不来溜溜弯儿好像缺点什么。” 亚运村街道群众说。“这几年奥体中心确实为我们老百姓带来了实惠，修了绿色环保的健身步道，免费给我们体质测试，发放科学健身手册，组织公益活动，听说还为每一名群众都上了保险。今天，我们还能有幸和国家竞走队奥运冠军陈定一起健步走，我很开心，也很自豪，我为国家奥体中心点赞。”
2018年3月，国家体育总局、发改委等12部委印发《百万公里健身步道工程实施方案》，提出到2020年，力争在全国每个县(市、区)完成300公里左右健身步道建设，推动全民健身活动广泛开展。
健身步道是全民健身的重要载体，它的环保安全性与舒适耐用性承载着群众健康的未来，关系着“健康中国”能否有效落地。2020年即将到来，新的十年之旅就要开启，我们不仅要动起来、跑起来，还要跑得自在、跑得健康、跑得舒适！

On the eve of the new year, Beijing experienced a cold front with temperatures dropping to minus 10 degrees Celsius. A group of fitness enthusiasts gathered on the newly constructed DPU fitness pathway at the National Olympic Sports Center to kick off the new year with a healthy run. At the seventh 'Welcoming the New Year, Striding Towards a Brighter Tomorrow' fitness walk and the unveiling ceremony of the DPU fitness pathway, residents from nearby communities and all staff members of the National Olympic Sports Center experienced the 2.5-kilometer-long pathway.

In 2019, the National Olympic Sports Center conducted thorough research and actively sought out high-quality social resources to re-pave the 2.5-kilometer-long fitness pathway within its premises. This DPU fitness pathway utilizes advanced elastic materials known as ETPU, also referred to as popcorn material, which is characterized by its high elasticity, environmental friendliness, and durability. Despite the cold winter in Beijing, this running track maintains excellent shock absorption, providing maximum protection for the knee joints of fitness enthusiasts and runners, making it one of the international high-quality fitness pathways.
National Olympic Sports Center: Witnessing the Revival of China's Sports Sector
Every day, many local residents in the vicinity of the National Olympic Sports Center engage in physical activities such as running, skipping rope, and fitness exercises. Mass fitness has long been integrated into the daily lives of the local population, just as it is at the National Olympic Sports Center.
Over the past three decades, as a window for China's sports development to the outside world, the National Olympic Sports Center has hosted major sporting events such as the 11th Asian Games, the 21st World University Games, and the 2008 Olympics, among others. National Olympic Sports Center Director Li Quanhai emphasized in his speech that as a national-level mass fitness demonstration base, the center has always taken the responsibility of constructing public sports services. It continuously enhances its facilities, creates fitness organizations, organizes public events, provides fitness guidance, and promotes sports culture. In recent years, the center has hosted over 28 million mass fitness activities annually.

The 'Welcoming New Year for a Better Tomorrow' event has been held consecutively for seven years, receiving enthusiastic responses from nearby fitness enthusiasts. With the promulgation of the 'Outline of the Construction of a Sports Powerhouse,' the Olympic Sports Center is committed to making its mass fitness activities more refined and superior, reaching a broader audience. The DPU Fitness Path: Three Technologies Make the Track Stand Out
According to reports, this DPU fitness path uses Infinergy ETPU particles, a polyurethane thermoplastic foamed material invented by BASF, a world-leading chemical company. DBC Group, a pioneer in new materials application innovation, has creatively applied it to sports venues. Lin Fanqiu, the chairman of DBC Group, believes that 'the fitness path project at the Olympic Sports Center is an exemplary case of innovative application of new technologies and materials in mass fitness facilities.'
We are confident that this DPU track will be the world's most environmentally friendly fitness path. It is not only environmentally friendly but also protects exercisers' knee joints from injury, maintaining excellent elasticity even in sub-zero winter temperatures in Beijing. High-quality sports venue facilities will help promote mass fitness more widely and smoothly. We hope that people can run to health and vitality on this track, and we wish for more comfortable, environmentally friendly, and durable tracks in the future to bring happiness to the nation.
According to Hans Wei, Business Director of the Construction Sector in the Greater China Region of BASF's Performance Materials Division, the DPU fitness path is a series of systems developed jointly by BASF and DBC Group, utilizing various types of novel materials. It features ETPU cushioning technology, zero-VOC odorless technology, and UV-resistant aging technology. Not only does it meet all environmental requirements stipulated in the new national standard GB36246-2018 drafted by the Ministry of Education, but it also complies with the most stringent impact protection standards for sports surfaces in Europe and America.

In the new decade: run freely, healthily, and comfortably
Despite the cold weather, participants were enthusiastic. A resident of the Asian Games Village subdistrict said: 'I started exercising here in 1990—nearly thirty years ago. The Olympic Sports Center is part of our lives; it feels as though something is missing if we do not come for a walk.' The resident added that the center had built a fitness path, provided free physical-fitness testing, distributed scientific-fitness guides, organized public-interest activities and, according to what participants had heard, arranged insurance for attendees. The resident also expressed happiness at joining Olympic race-walking champion Chen Ding for the walk.
In March 2018, the General Administration of Sport of China, National Development and Reform Commission, and 12 other ministries jointly issued the 'One Million Kilometer Fitness Path Project Implementation Plan,' aiming to complete approximately 300 kilometers of fitness paths in each county (city, district) by 2020 to promote widespread fitness activities.
Fitness paths are crucial carriers for mass fitness. Their environmental safety and durability are vital for the health of the public, impacting the effective implementation of a Healthy China strategy. As we approach 2020 and embark on a new decade, not only must we get moving and start running, but we must also run freely, healthily, and comfortably!
