At the 2020 Shanghai International Sports Equipment Exhibition, DBC Group's DPU Sports Flooring Team showcased innovative technical solutions for sports flooring, including the new DPU seamless prefabricated track product series. This is the fourth consecutive year that DBC Group and German BASF have jointly participated in the Shanghai Trade Fair, each year bringing surprises with new technological products, and 2020 did not disappoint market expectations.

At the 2020 Shanghai International Sports Equipment Exhibition, DBC Group's DPU Sports Flooring Team was present.

On CCTV5 Sports Channel, Lin Fanqiu, Chairman of DBC Group and a Councilor of the China Sports Goods Industry Association, expressed during an interview with CCTV: 'In 2020, all of us have been striving forward. Especially for companies participating in the trade fair, there is great confidence in the future. The spirit of sportspeople to persevere and not give up inspires us as we work in this vast sports industry environment.'

The new DPU seamless prefabricated track product series integrates innovative materials and structures, aiming to address three major objective challenges in outdoor construction of sports venues (temperature, humidity, rainy weather). This solution is expected to inject strong momentum into the scaled-up high-quality development of the industry.

At the launch of the new DPU seamless prefabricated track product series, Lin Fanqiu, Chairman of DBC New Materials Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., stated: 'I regard 2020 as a test and challenge for our business operations. We use future technologies to address current challenges. The DPU seamless prefabricated track can increase outdoor construction efficiency by 50%, reduce harmful pollution from cross-construction, and lower the risk of TVOC (Total Volatile Organic Compounds) exceeding standards in the final product.'

Like other products in the DPU Runway Series, the DPU seamless prefabricated running track is renowned for its three key technologies: shock absorption and cushioning technology, odor-free technology, and UV-resistant aging technology. These features ensure that the track excels in both environmental performance and physical mechanical properties. For instance, it offers strong shock absorption and rebound, reducing injuries to knees and ankles during exercise; it remains flexible over a long lifespan without hardening; and it is odorless, free of VOCs, and formaldehyde, thereby reducing environmental pollution and maintenance costs.

Mr. Yong Zhang, Vice President of the Global Functional Materials Business Management of BASF Greater China, said in his address: 'It is a pleasure to be here with all of you at the DPU seamless prefabricated running track booth of DBC Group at the 2020 Sports Expo. This marks our fourth consecutive year of collaboration. I am also honored to witness the launch of this new product, jointly developed by BASF and DBC Group.'

To demonstrate the new product's puncture resistance, we invited professional athletes to wear cleats and perform in-place running on the DPU seamless prefabricated running track. After several steps, the surface remained intact, showcasing its superior physical properties to the audience present.

Following the perfect demonstration of the puncture resistance of DPU tracks, many audience members at the site were eager to experience the physical properties of seamless prefabricated tracks. We conducted a tug-of-war activity with two participants to showcase the product's outstanding tensile and torsional resistance.

During the exhibition, Xiao Du prepared many engaging on-site interactive games. For example, in the finger running game, audience members scanned a QR code to enter the game and ran using their fingers to earn rankings and win exquisite gifts.

On September 29, the First China Sports Goods Industry Federation Sports Flooring Professional Committee was established, with DBC serving as a deputy chairman.

DBC is dedicated to the research and application of sports new materials. By June 30, 2020, it had completed over 2,600 sports field projects, including more than 800 public primary and secondary schools, universities, over 1,600 private and international schools and kindergartens, and over 200 fitness trails and sports venue running tracks.
