面向多场景的Bioten™1030已经亮相。接下来,我们将聚焦一次性餐具与食品包装的纸基阻隔涂层,从合规与安全、应用与场景、功能与数据、回收与降解四个维度推进研发与产品落地,形成Bioten Plus(通用)Bioten Pro(专业)Bioten Ultra(旗舰)三大阻隔涂层系统组合,兼顾阻隔性能与高效加工的产线适配(辊/刮/喷/幕涂)。

BIOTEN 1030 polyhydroxyalkanoate water-based emulsion
DBC Bioten™ BIOTEN 1030 bio-based emulsion is based on microbial polymer PHA, with a bio-based carbon content of up to 99%. It relies on Bioten's water-phase emulsification and dispersion technology, and expands the functional window through graft modification and compound design, and continues to carry out engineering and large-scale verification of PHA liquid applications. After industrial-level production verification, BIOTEN 1030 has excellent performance in colloidal stability and paper-based processing/production line adaptability. Bioten™1030 is suitable for: paper-based barrier coatings, bio-based adhesives and pressure-sensitive adhesives, latex paints, compostable seed coatings and controlled-release fertilizers/pellets, personal care creams/lotions, etc., providing new solutions for the green innovative development of low-carbon friendly products.

Technical background: DBC Bioten's bio-based graft-modified emulsification technology benefits from the long-term accumulation of China's leading PHA microbial fermentation technology ecology. The microbial polymer PHA raw materials used by Bioten are internationally mature technologies and are based on the halophilic bacteria chassis microbial fermentation route of the team of Professor Chen Guoqiang of Tsinghua University. DBC (DBC) has reached an in-depth strategic cooperation with Tsinghua University incubator Bluepha (PhaBuilder) to jointly promote the world's leading water-based PHA and application development. Bioten has taken the lead in realizing the widespread application of PHA water-based barrier coatings on paper bases, which complies with food contact compliance and sustainable pathways. It meets the needs of disposable tableware and food packaging for high water, oil, gas and oxygen barrier products. It also achieves the performance characteristics of being easy to recycle and repulp, and degradable and compostable.

Bioten™1030 for multiple scenarios has been unveiled. Next, we will focus on paper-based barrier coatings for disposable tableware and food packaging, and promote R&D and product implementation from the four dimensions of compliance and safety, application and scenarios, functions and data, and recycling and degradation, forming a combination of three barrier coating systems: Bioten Plus (general), Bioten Pro (professional), and Bioten Ultra (flagship), which take into account barrier performance and efficient processing of production line adaptation (roller/squeegee/spray/curtain coating).
All plans are based on the food contact compliance path (project-based evaluation according to regulations such as 21 CFR/FCN, GB 4806/GB 9685/GB 31604, EU FCM, etc.), and insist on PFAS not artificially added (NIA) and low VOC (ISO 11890-2). Functions and data are disclosed according to standard methods (such as Cobb/Kit, WVTR [ASTM F1249], OTR [ASTM D3985]; see TDS/Project Report for conditions). At the same time, repulping/recyclability is evaluated according to the CEPI/PTS route, and industrial composting is promoted according to the ASTM D6400/D6868 route (you can apply for BPI or TÜV Austria OK compost certification). Based on this, we provide alternative PE coating technology routes, promote packaging from "plastic reduction" to "carbon reduction", and help the paper-based industry move towards an easily recyclable/compostable recycling system.
