To thoroughly implement the concept of green and low-carbon development, align with the new phase requirements of civil aviation green development in the "15th Five-Year Plan," and promote the green substitution, plastic and carbon reduction, recycling, and industry collaboration of disposable tableware in civil aviation service scenarios, the "Civil Aviation Green Tableware Industry Chain Innovation Forum" will be held in Haikou on May 21, 2026, leveraging the platform of the 4th Civil Aviation Green Development Conference.

The forum will focus on real-world scenarios such as aviation food, cabin service, airport and airline catering supply chains, and key topics including paper-based tableware barrier engineering systems, new materials for bio-manufacturing, PHA water-based barrier technology, food contact safety, international compliance, and recycling closed loops, aiming to promote verifiable, collaborative, and implementable industry chain cooperation pathways.

The collaborative cooperation for BIOTEN PHA paper-based water-based barrier coating industry chain in specific application scenarios was officially launched on-site. Initiated by DBC, BASF, Bluepha, and industry chain partners, this initiative aims to drive bio-based water-based materials from technical validation to scaled scenario implementation.
