PRIVACY & DATA USE

Privacy & Data Use Notice

This notice applies to project inquiries, documentation requests, paper-sample testing, sample requests, and contact forms on the DBC and BIOTEN websites. We use information only to the extent needed for communication and project assessment.

Last updated: July 24, 2026

Information categoryPurpose of processinginternal routingPartner transfertask processingRetention & SecurityChoices and RightsContact Us
01

Categories of information we actually collect

Different forms only collect the fields required to complete the corresponding tasks: (1) contact and organizational information such as name, company, position, phone number, and email address; (2) shipping information such as recipient, address, and pickup time; (3) project information such as packaging objects, base materials, processes, equipment, usage conditions, target markets, testing, and data requirements; (4) corporate qualifications, personnel, regions, budgets, scale, and capability information required for distribution or project consulting; (5) requirements, remarks, and existing evidence summaries filled in by users. The website's current form does not require uploading identification documents, payment information or unnecessary trade secrets.

02

Processing purposes and form boundaries

The information is used to verify form integrity, identify business routing, evaluate application and project suitability, respond to information or authorization requirements, discuss samples and test conditions, conduct preliminary review for cooperation or distribution, and necessary quality, safety and dispute records. The form or receipt number does not mean acceptance, sample supply, authorization, project establishment, compliance, supply or establishment of cooperation.

03

Internal Routing and the Minimum Necessary Principle

Dubaicheng and its corresponding business teams only process information within the scope of their tasks. For example, the data application mainly focuses on the company, contact information, data type and purpose; only the pattern or project pre-review will deal with the base material, process, equipment and verification conditions; only the distribution application will deal with the region, personnel, company profile and market analysis. Fields that are no longer needed should be discontinued.

04

Transfer by industrial partners requires separate consent

When the independent "Industrial Partner Minimum Necessary Information Transfer Agreement" in the form is not checked, Dubaicheng will not transfer the submitter's information to paper, coating, processed products or testing partners for resource matching, and the application is only subject to internal review. After checking, the scope that can be used for preliminary collaboration evaluation is limited to company name, business contact person, selected capability summary and project goals; phone number, detailed documents, samples and other personal or sensitive information still need to be confirmed separately. This separate consent may be withdrawn at any time.

05

Task-oriented processing and responsibility

To complete the requested task, the hosting and security log environment can process access time, IP and technical error summary; the mail service only processes the receipt routing, reply email and form content required to send the form; the logistics provider only processes the recipient, phone number, address and delivery requirements after manual confirmation of delivery; the testing or professional service provider only processes the necessary technical information when the project scope, samples and authorization have been separately confirmed. Dubaicheng is responsible for defining the purpose and scope, and the service provider must handle it in accordance with the entrustment instructions, confidentiality and security requirements; after the task is completed, access should be stopped and the information should be returned or deleted in accordance with the contract, law and deletion requirements.

06

Saving, security and unnecessary information

Information will only be retained for a reasonable period required for project follow-up, business records, audits, dispute resolution and applicable laws, and access controls appropriate to the sensitivity of the information will be adopted. Please do not submit recipes, customer lists, IDs, payment data or unnecessary trade secrets via public forms that you do not have the right to provide.

07

Inquiry, correction, deletion, exit and withdrawal

You can request to query, correct or delete website form information, withdraw from subsequent business contacts, or withdraw separate consent for the transfer of information to industrial partners. Withdrawal does not affect the effectiveness of previously completed processing based on consent. Records that must be retained due to contractual, audit, security, dispute or legal obligations may be deleted or anonymized after the corresponding obligation has ended.

08

Contact and Request Identification

To make a privacy, data use, opt-out or withdrawal request, please email Bioten@dbc.cn, and indicate the submission time, form name, company name, receipt number (if any) and the matters you wish to handle. To protect information security, we may verify the requester's connection to the submitted record.

Start with the collaboration goal and application problem.

Share the business area, application, current stage and intended outcome so the request can be routed to the right team.
